CBS Sports:

Percy Harvin already has more 100-yard receiving games with the Jets than he did with the Seahawks.

New York Post:

Percy Harvin was terrific Sunday, which is a good thing for the Jets

Washington Post:

At least Percy Harvin played well Sunday ( 11 catches for 129 yards, 1 carry for 8 yds, returned two kickoffs for 88 yards) giving some tiny hope that something could possibly go right with this team.

Washington Post

49ers: If now-or-never time hasn’t arrived already, it’s getting pretty close ... they’re now winless since Oct. 13

Newsday:

San Francisco’s season of discontent continues. Will Niners even make the playoffs?

Mile High Report:

The San Francisco 49ers are in big trouble right now and I just don't see things getting any better for them.

Yahoo Sports

49ers (4-4): I don't know how they get to 10-6 with their schedule the rest of the way, and I'm not sure 9-7 gets them in the playoffs.

to get to 10-6, the 49ers have to win six of their remaining games:

@Saints

@Giants W

Redskins W

Seahawks

@Raiders W

@Seahawks

Chargers

Cardinals

9/9/9 Panthers

9/9/9 Vikings

9 Bears

9 Giants

CBS Sports:

Matt Asiata is a human hammer. The Vikings running back scored three times against Washington ... Basically, the Vikings have a guaranteed touchdown if they can get inside the 10.

Athlon Sports

Asiata now has three career games with three rushing touchdowns, the most of any undrafted player in his first three seasons in the common draft era (since 1967).

CBS Sports

Teddy Touchdown was impressive when he had to be, directing two long scoring drives in the fourth quarter and going 9 of 13 for 102 yards in the process...Teddy Bridgewater is growing up. The pass rush is also good. That's a nice combination moving forward... this will be a good team in 2015

Yahoo Sports

Teddy Bridgewater has shown he doesn't get rattled in pressure situations. The last two weeks, he has led two late fourth quarter drives that led to Vikings wins. That's a great sign.

New Orleans Times Picayune

Teddy Bridgewater looks clutch down stretch.

Newsday:

Nice effort by rookie Teddy Bridgewater as the Vikings get the best of Washington with a terrific fourth-quarter comeback.

Tampa Tribune:

The Vikes have found their QB keeper in Teddy Bridgewater.

CBS Sports:

The Raiders might be 0-8, but they're a fun to watch 0-8 ... What the Raiders need to is find a running game to complement rookie quarterback Derek Carr, who's looking more and more like he's the Raiders' quarterback of the future.

New York Daily News:

The Raiders are halfway to 0-16. But Derek Carr on way to becoming a good QB.

Mile High Report

Derek Carr looks like the real deal and the Raiders are losing mostly close games right now.

Michigan newspaper conglomerate MLive:

Speaking of bright spots, rookie linebacker Khalil Mack looks like he's going to be a perennial Pro Bowler for the Raiders.

    • Was just reading the Ask the Old Guy story on the team's website and was shocked to see that only two 2nd Rounders have signed so far, 30 of them haven't. That isn't normal, the Texans really screwed things up for the rest of the league, no other explanation that I can think of for 30 of the 32 picks to still be unsigned at this point.
    • They need to address CB before season starts. This is not going to cut it.
    • Except it wouldn't be Rodgers leading them on a postseason run, it would be the defense and he's there to not screw up their great games. Which is why..... This times a million. I didn't watch a ton of the Jets last year, but from what I did see, Rodgers himself didn't look like a bum, the team just struggled and was more than likely due to poor coaching on the whole.  The Steelers don't need MVP level Rodgers to win games, they just need him to be good enough to make some plays when it matters because the defense is keeping them in games every week regardless. In their 7 losses last season, the Steelers scored 10, 13, 17, 17, 17, 19, and 24... while giving up 19, 20, 24, 27, 27, 29, and 34 in those games.  With only marginally better offense last year, they probably end up winning a few more games too. They only scored over 27 points in 3 games last season. I think this is a great move by the Steelers and if Rodgers can stay healthy all year, will get them back into the playoffs and could make some noise if their defense is up to the normal level of a Steelers defense.
