3rd annual

2,500 lbs of food

75 turkeys

500 lbs of potatoes

Over 50 volunteers

Over 800 underprivileged kids served

Over 800 take-home bags full of canned goods, a chicken and a pie.

Kinda lame that something like this has been up since last night but I don't see that anyone here has posted about it... But if some white guy over 30/scumbag radio host has some "intel" about how he's annoyingly shy or can't process stuff quickly enough the topic gets talked up to death. Don't mean to take away from what Cam did here with my drivel, just kinda sucks to see him not get the credit he deserves for his community work.

There is a lot of charitable things many other players do that don't make ESPN. Educate yourself on how the media works and stop bitching.

1) I know how the media works, they don't show enough positive things that the players do.

2) Bitching about someone else bitching is just silly, especially when what i said was true. The sports channels are on 24/7 so they could find time to do it.

3) Aren't you one of those "blame everything on Cam" guys? Just like the media does...

Gabe, you know you could have posted it last night. Kind of lame to criticize random people on the internet for not checking the black and blue review last night then not copy pasting it.

I didn't see it until this morning and I'm not pointing anyone out specifically, my point was he should be credited a little more with the work he does with your community.

    • There is some truth in what you say about having a bottom tier QB and still having some success in the NFL. However, the rest of the team can't be bottom tier at any level. You can't have bottom tier skill players, o-lineman, d-lineman, LB's and DB's. Those positions would have to be mid-top tier to compensate for the weakness at QB. And, Bryce would have to be willing to be paid as a bottom tier QB. That would allow the team to fortify all of the above positions to enhance BY's chance of success on the field. Unfortunately, I think there is little chance of Young and his agent accepting that in today's QB market. Which, is why Carolina has to be willing to move on if he doesn't show any significant improvement over the next 2 seasons.
    • Agreed. Canales likes WRs that can block down field and even IF this guy stays healthy his profile calls him out as not being a willing blocker.
    • Draft time is always tough. We all tend to have players that we want to see drafted, only to see out hopes dashed when the FO goes a different direction. I like what the team has done so far but I wouldn't be thrilled with a WR at 19, especially one who is already injury prone.
