Hornets aggressively looking to upgrade Wing/Power Forward - Appear to be looking to move Stephenson

I believe our current loosing streak shows how important MKG is to our team. I honesty would rather us trade for a PF over a SF considering we have MKG and Williams can play SF. Most trades has us trading MKG and/or Zeller which I am totally against. I could see us trading away Henderson and Biyombo but I believe MKG and Zeller are going to be good players and continue to improve every year.

With all the talk from Curry talking about coming to play for the Hornets I wouldn't be against tanking this season and getting some top draft picks. By time Curry is a FA our prospects will be coming into their prime and we will still have cap room.

I can imagine our future lineup looking like this

Curry

PJ Hairston

MKG

Vonleh

Zeller/ Big Al

Kemba as 6th man.

I don't know if we will keep big Al around in a few years but I see Zeller and Vonleh being starters soon. If we can afford Big Al and Curry we will be a great team.

Barnes

Kemba / ?

Barnes

MKG

Zeller / Vonleh

Jefferson / Karl Towns

Seems like GSW would have to give up more than Barnes, but they are 15-2. Not sure they'd want to move two pieces for Stephenson (Barnes and another player or Barnes and a draft pick), even though I think he adds more to GSW than he does to Charlotte and Barnes would add more to Charlotte than he has to GSW.

Lance has a much different game than Curry and Thompson. Barnes has a similar style to theirs, with 1/3rd the opportunities (He averages 7 FIELD GOAL ATTEMPTS, whereas he'd get twice as many in Charlotte).

They'll probably end up with Waiters, lol. Stephenson playing "with" LeBron. The media would eat that up.

    • I mean....no lies detected. See above. We have traded a fortune to draft a guy #1 overall that people have lowered standards for to the point that not playing like Jimmy Clausen and looking like a poor man's Kyle Allen occasionally is worthy of a contract extension making him one of the highest paid QB's in the league. That is cope on steroids.
    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
    • this one is gold:     Bryce has a cult inside the Panthers fanbase that has truly developed some NPC hivemind. I'll never understand how he's captured the true essence of the casual fan like that.
