This whole OL ordeal

First off--Loved the win today.  It's awesome seeing young new guns contributing (Bene, Fozzy, Tre, etc.)

Something that the last 2 weeks has shown however is the lack of evaluation skills the OL coaching and offensive staff has.

It took injuries and a ton of moving around to finally get a competent line out there.  7 prior starting lines.

I just can't forgive the fact that thought Amini and Chandler were the best options we had when a random mid-season FA pickup and one of our UDFAs are completely outplaying them now.  Igo even mentioned how good Norwell looked in camp and it was pretty obvious he had talent watching this preseason.

Moving forward, if we somehow are stuck with Ronald next season we NEED to get better talent evaluators on offense.

They have basically been forced into this lineup and it was legit today.

Even before Shula leaves, Matsko and Brown need to be relieved of their duties and we need a change at those spots.

This awesome win and offensive performance should have given every indication we need a lot of changes to the staff on offense if Ronald is here next season.  There was a reason the Ravens canned him.

When an OL is killing it and you don't turn it over, an offense works no matter the scheme..WC, EP, AC, Kellyball

I agree on the young talent.  Because of the play in the last 6 games, all the coaches besides Proehl need to be gone.

Bene is super talented.  Happy we've got him.

I could see us signing Fozzy to a 2-yr deal after this season.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
