Luck played pretty well. He missed some passes early and really didn't have to do much given how poorly Denver's offense was producing. He had some great protection, converted third downs, connected on deep passes. He did have two turnovers but those were on deep passes on third down that didn't give the opponent good field position and they didn't happen in the redzone.

Luck will have to be better next week but he obviously belongs.

Interestingly, the only team left in the tournament that has actually beaten the Seahawks over the last two seasons are the Indianapolis Colts, 34-28 last year.

If the Colts can get by New England, the nutthuggers may become a herd of lemmings...

No doubt if Luck wins it all this year with Wilson having won it all last year, we might have some Huddlers on suicide watch.

    • I surprisingly like this pick, I think he makes the team as well in the next couple years.
    • Why I put him with Ghosty on the third line. He can focus defensively while ES. If needed can play PP2 in a pinch but id have him focus solely on defense and leave him off the PP in favor of Nikishin. 3rd pairing and PK minutes with 15-17m of ice time seems perfect.
    • This is a damn good deal. He can score buckets, shoot the ball from 3.    Can back up Ball or play the 2 since Ball has size and the teams 1-4 gives defensive versatility. (Even if it's not good versatility, lol)  Dunno if they start him or have him come off the bench as the first reserve behind Ball and Green/ Kon at the two.   Makes Green expendable for another trade though.
