GDT: Hornets @ Wizards (p.s. Nene is a bitch)

I really was not ready to tank. I'm just so tired of accepting losing... And I had such high expectations for this team this season. I didn't think the Lance signing really mattered either way, although I did say since last season that he wouldn't fit here... Regardless, I expected AL to play at the same level and everyone else to get a year better.

I expected PJ to get legit minutes and score.

I expected Noah to get playing time.

I expected Taylor to not get charged with DV, and be a key contributor again.

We only really lost McBob (which Cody has basically negated), and CDR from last season... I just can't believe that we ended up being this bad with the additions we made.

Btw that last play would have been a great call if Marvin was in Al's place instead of throwing in the ball.

But that's what I was saying... Why was AL in there at all?

If Noah can do anything right now, it's shoot from outside. He's probably the best big we have for it. We needed a three... Clifford is just a fuging idiot. I mean, we could go small and just put PJ or JT in because it's the last shot, but Noah would force them to keep a big in and cause a mismatch.

I didn't buy into the idea that he was purposely losing, but after the last few games, I think there's some validity to it. Tonight was the final straw... That poo with putting JT in for defense and then not calling timeout with them down by two was fuging sabotage if I have ever seen it.

At best, had the transition in the offseason been smooth, this team would have been where Toronto is right now, and do you see anyone fearing Toronto as a legitimate contender?

Short of that, this is the next best option, as it's clear as day this team needs new direction, whether that's in building the roster, coaching the roster, or both. Another seven seed, token sweep by LeBron would have done nothing. A season like this speaks volumes.

But, that's the problem... The direction won't change, at least not for another year. Al will accept his option and be here next season. That alone guarantees we will be a middle-of-the-road team for another year.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
