Carson City Council (Los Angeles) approves $1.7-billion NFL stadium

Will two teams from the same division really play in the same stadium? I guess it would work, but seems like it would be a headache. Am I reading correctly that there could possibly be two new stadiums built. The Carson one for Raiders/Chargers and the other one for the Rams? 

 

By order of most likely to happen:

 

Inglewood Stadium

Carson Stadium

Los Angeles Stadium 

Farmer's Field

Not sure because when the Rams moved the Angels moved to reconstruct the stadium to be a baseball only stadium in 1996 that completed in 1998. Moreno bought the team in 2003 so the stadium was still fairly renovated. Essentially, he bought the Angels for $180 million dollars and a newly refurbished stadium.

 

 

There now talking about a 150 million dollar redo in Anaheim.

The stadium was built in 1961. I think the only plder current stadiums still functioning are Fenway, Wrigley and Dodger Stadium.

What people don't understand about football in Southern California is there has NEVER been an NFL stadium housing any team, at any time, ever.

 

The LA Coliseum is named that because it was built in 1923 for the 1932 Summer Olympics.

True dat, Moonbeam, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein and it all started with Gray Davis = Billions in debt, exacerbated by the "Undocumented Alien" problem.

 

The stadium only gets built if private industry strokes a check.
