Just saw the Lesnar/Orton match from Summerslam.

So......was that a work, or did Brock just throw potatoes? Orton seemed to be doing fine. Sold everything well, made Lesnar look good, had the tides turn. Was he not supposed to kick out after that F5? Was the F5 supposed to be it and Lesnar got mad? Because it just felt uncomfortable to watch. I don't know if there was backstage heat with these two or not, but that ending certainly didn't seem scripted. Somebody help.

It was a work.  Randy didn't blade either, Brock said he knew how to throw an elbow that could cut him without hurting him.  But the cut ended up way worse than it was supposed to be

Even people backstage were confused and because of that Jericho and Lesnar ended up having a scuffle backstage because Jericho didn't know it was all planned

Randy Orton got kind of screwed because rumor is he thought it would be a standard main event with some back and forth but was told when he showed up that his job was just to make Brock look really, really strong and then get TKO'd.  It is said that he didn't raise a stink about it, but wasn't happy about it either.

I'm legitimately stoked for No Mercy. The builds for Miz/Ziggler and Styles/Cena/Ambrose are some of the best I can remember in a long time. Smackdown continues to own RAW.

But this silly Wyatt/Orton feud needs to end now.

Yeah.  Smackdown has been the better show by far but I also think it benefits immensely from only being 2 hours and RAW being 3 hours and 15 minutes.

I am still watching RAW almost exclusively because of Bayley, Sasha, and Charlotte at this point.  I also like Enzo and Cass and New Day, KO, Rollins, Sami, and Rusev.  But all their storylines are kind of crap at the moment

But RAW needs to fix it's current storylines because they have the better roster.  But it just isn't clicking outside of the women's division (which even there they have some things to nitpick)

BTW Charlotte and Sasha on RAW was once again amazing and rumor is they are getting a Hell in a Cell match at the HIAC PPV and may even be the main event.  And IMO they deserve it.

I've all but given up on RAW at this point. I can't remember the last time I finished the show at 11pm+ and said to myself "I sure am glad I sat down and watched that show." The past couple of weeks I've given it an hour to hook me (not going to happen with a 30 minute Reigns/Rusev match that I just watched on PPV), then I just read results and watch the highlights later.

Sasha and Charlotte as the main event for HIAC would be fantastic. I think WWE has been waiting to pull the trigger on a women's match headlining a PPV, and now is the time. Those two work so well together consistently, and I think they'd put on a classic.

I always watch anything that Charlotte is involved with; Sasha is still kind of finding herself on the main roster, though. She can still improve on the mic, and she just works so much better as a heel. The (fantastic) problem is that Charlotte is arguably the best heel in the company right now, so they don't really have a choice. I do recall that it took Charlotte a little while to come into her own.

Sasha is a heel.  Her character is still pretty much still a heel just toned down.  She is an antihero.  Fans just like her so they went with it and made her a babyface.

But when she turns on Bayley (which HAS to happen at some point) it will be both devastating and glorious because she is a much better and more natural heel and the shackles will come off.  Plus, they have incorporated so much of Sasha and Bayley's real life "bromance" into the storyline that it will be devastating when it happens.

I am both dreading and can't wait for that moment

Charlotte is great but I can't stand Sasha. Maybe because I'm 41 and am not into her look/act. It's too high school or college for my tastes. Or ghetto? The gold, calling yourself a "boss", the horrible sunglasses. Just doesn't work for me. Same with Bayley. She's right out of 80s WWF. Asuka vs Charlotte? YES PLEASE.
