"4) I really thought I was on to something with TOP but then the later part of the season killed it. In games when we held the ball for 27 minutes or more we were 9-1, games we didn't we were 3-4, not really much to write home about."

I remember a game we played against indianaoplis maybe 3 years ago we had the ball almost the entire 2nd quarter and peyton still came back and killed us in the 2nd half....and i 2nd fireball good post +rep

Here's the most important statistic you forgot to mention:

when we score more points than the other team, we're 12-0. when we score less points then the other team, we're 0-5

:D

I did mention that it was when I was talking about scoring more than 20 points...but I guess more points than the other guy is a good philosophy too.

Yeah that Indy game in 07 started out so nice. Best drive of the year.

Vinny left the game. That's what did that. He had Indy's number and didn't pass it to Carr when he left. I'm not sure Carr would've known what to do with it anyway.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
