He was right with everything he said.  One thing I didn't agree with was the guy that said Cam "has all the throws".  He didn't then and doesn't now.  He still struggles with those touch passes (as evidenced by the throw to Olsen yesterday on 4th down).  He's gotten better at them but I think he still has room for improvement, which is great when you think about how good he already is.

I have seen this from you and others

I wonder if anyone considers the running work load and how that affects Cam. No other QB is asked to do so much. Not a one

Can Cam get better?  He knows it and he will

there also pro qbs who can't throw the long balls he does or the lasers he throws

there is no perfect QB in the NFL including. Brady.

Every QB has things to work on, tho.  Cam is definitely elite this season.

LOL why are you guys getting bent out of shape over this?  I was merely pointing out that the guy who said Cam had all the throws was wrong.  Brady has all the throws, Rodgers has all the throws.  Cam doesn't...yet, but I think he will.  I personally think Cam is an elite talent too, so the fact that he can STILL improve isn't an indictment of him.

And for the record I think Cam has the possibility of becoming one of the best QB's of all time.  So let's not get bent out of shape right now because I have an opinion that may be different than you or anybody else.

Right now his ability to run the ball as effectively as he does is what puts him over the top.  That's what puts him on the same level as Brady and Rodgers to me.  If he didn't have that ability he wouldn't be on their level because his production would be lower.

I disagree with you in this point. WRs participate in a QBs success.  How did Brady do this last week. It is not so easy, ask Aaron Rodgers, to win with Ted Ginn and a player to be named later

i have always thought that flat drops or interceptions caused by WRs should not be part of QBR

Before we go any further in this discussion let me ask you a question.  Do you believe from what you've seen from Brady, Rodgers, and Cam that Cam is just as accurate with his throws as Rodgers and Brady?

When given time to throw, yes  within % points

again what is asked of Brady  Rodgers  Wilson  and Newton are quite different   The systems are different

Hoeever, you could put Cam in NE right now and he would win

Ask yourself  what other QB could have the Panthers at 12 wins with this group of receivers and your answer is there

My point is simply the Panthers have a QB that at least 30 other teams would love to have  ...is he perfect , no ... is he a finished product, no  ...but he is pretty damned special so how about   lets appreciate him and and consider too as much of a perfectionist as he is, have faith he will continue to strive for greatness

that's how I see it  been around pro football a very long time and I believe this guy  is special  very special

We'll just have to disagree on the accuracy thing then.  Pretty much agree with everything else though.  I think Brady would struggle with this offense only because of how we run things and what's best for him, Rodgers not so much.  Just like I think Cam wouldn't be as good in New England's offense because that's not what he's best at.  It would be very difficult to swap QB's for any of these teams because the offenses of each team is tailored to the strengths of the QB running them.

And when you say you've been around pro football, in what capacity are you talking about?

I think Cam is 80 percent there. He still misses at times but he was 50 percent last year. I believe alot was due to injuries and not being apart of TC alot due to injuries. This year he had a great TC and it has shown. With Benjamin back next year I think he will be even better. But that pass to Philly Brown and one pass to olsen sort of shows that he isnt 100% there yet. But his 80 percent is better than alot of QB's 100. I expect next year 100% and a greater year then this next year. Dynasty mode. But this year lets get this ring and prove the haters. Next year will just reaffirm ourselves that we can do it back to back and be written down as one of the most dominating teams of all time.

    • Ickey still out? He good?
    • You're acting like Bryce put him out for the game and the week when that play happened at 4:01 in Q2. Renfrow was targeted four more times after that. Plus, a hospital ball is a poorly placed pass that puts the receiver in a dangerous position to take a big hit by being late or inaccurate.  Ball is out an on its way here. The catch is made at the 25yd line on the hash. Renfrow jumps for no reason and is airborne when he's hit. Bryce doesn't drift him over in front of the safety on the throw and as we can see from the capture that he had the right read. Could he have also waited a little longer for XL to pop up over the middle on the in route? You won't hear me disagree with that. Would have also likely netted more YAC than Renfrow would've considering positioning and momentum for both players. I like that option better than the one he took, but you're also not going to see me make 10 different threads about it like we've seen this week. 😮
    • This offense is like watching a slow bleed out when you think a merciful death has finally ended the suffering only to see a pinky flinch or hear a faint gasp of air creep from the lungs and through the dried out walls of a flaked throat, making you feel a sliver of hope and obligation to stay with the moribund patient on life support until it passes beyond the void and the undertaker begins his duties--usually around week 6.
