Lol. You need to get with the times. Last year's stats count from here on out. Ginn coming off a career year, Brown being a great #3. Funchess getting it late in the season. I'm not even talking about Olsen since this is just WR talk. I have not even mentioned KB coming back, oh wait... KB is coming back!  How is this even a discussion.  Ginn and Brown may struggle in other teams but here they flourish.  That's the bottom line bud. Given the circumstances,  we are stacked WITH KB.  I'm not saying we couldn't use another weapon for Cam. All I'm saying is we're good. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't even go after another wide out.

Lol! I will celebrate your enthusiasm with you! KB IS COMING BACK! Like getting two 1st RD picks this year! WR wasn't a worry before KB and now it just might be a strength!

BUT, Pittsburgh is stacked at WR! We are not! But we are definitely better than Baltimore and a smidge better than Tampa but not quite a Arizona level! Looking promising tho. Corey Coleman or Hunter Sharp might get us to the Pitt level, but Alshon would be way too much for the difference made!

Now Dewayne Allen replacing Dickson.....that's a game changer for our offense

Eh, I beg to differ on two accounts. To me, we're stacked, adding one more weapon would be a little overkill. I also never compared this WR corp to Pitt...that's insane. Even I know that. What they have vs what we have it's no question, they have a better Corp.

Second, Allen is a great prospect but he's not known to be a blocker, actually, he's horrible at blocking. -_- Something Dickson is actually better at. Olsen is a better version of allen, he can catch anything and he blocks like a champ. Dickson is better all around than Allen in my opinion.

Mind you, I don't watch much Colts football, so I can't swear to this, but according to a friend that is a diehard Irsay man, what I have read, and what little I have seen....Allen's strong suit is blocking. It's Fleener that you may be thinking of or backwards for me. I hear quite often about how Fleener can't block and sucks in the run game.

To me, Allen is the much improved version of Dickson as a receiving threat while their blocking abilities are a push.

I sense a little sentimental attachment to the team that got us back to the big game. While I don't want to see wholesale changes, I do want to see a move for improvement in all three phases of the game. I'm excited to see what DG has planned in the coming months

We're not even close to being stacked at WR....we're stacked at LB for comparison.

People seriously just homer the fug up and list names no one in the NFL including most other GMs give 2 shits about. We could easily use 2 more WRs and have Ginn soley on returns if we had a deep threat who catches the ball more reliably and more importantly with more physicality. Our WR core was soft as poo this year...

Brown and Ginn are 4/5 which leaves a 2 or 3 depending on what they think of Funchess....or hell even a dominant 1 and move KB to 2 since KB wasn't even the best rookie in his own class...he wasn't even 2nd best...

Ain't got time for that reality!!!!

In all seriousness, a stud, reliable, deep threat WR would help, but we can get more bang for the buck in other areas.

I'm not mad! Our 4th and 5th stringers played well this year, but by no means would I feel comfortable trying that again with another season on Ginn and Cotchery gone!
