completely useless and pointless thread go play in traffic now

Maybe I didn't make the point clear enough, not to defend Turgo or bash Meeks but the players on defense just aren't very good. With the exception of Beason, who needs a decent line to protect him, and Pep, who can never hope to justify the expenditure required to keep him(nobody could). Conservative, run first offense looked terrible with Foster, looks good with Williams/Stewart(and an improved line). Just don't want anybody else clamoring for assistant coach firings, what we need is better players.

Yeah, we should have kept Turdo so we can see the EXACT SAME THING WE ARE SEEING NOW.

Change was good, but it didn't change anything, same ol' inept secondary and no pass rush.

Maybe you didn't watch a Panthers game last season, because it wouldn't be anything different than it is now.

      Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.

      The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
