Albert Haynesworth was the highest paid DL ever and he set them back years. Josh Norman is the highest paid CB in the NFL.

Cason, Avant were both inexpensive free agents, so I don't know what point you were trying to make.

The point I was trying to make is that throwing money at the top free agents does not always work out.
