Mannix was a great show. Loved his cars, especially the Barracuda and Challenger from the early 70's. I was in my teens when the show first aired.

His secretary was a black woman...a rarity in TV those days.

One of my favorite shows as a kid.

He crossed over with Lucy once, and much later an episode of Diagnosis Murder with Dick Van Dyke served as a sequel to one of his original episodes.

Sad news.
