MR. MIAGI'S WAY TOO EARLY OFFSEASON MOCK + DRAFT V1.0

Garbage draft. We would trade down before we took McCaffery. There's also no way we take a hurt TE with our 3rd pick when DG and Ron are in a win now mentality. DGs 5 year plan is over and we passed all expectations. This is the year DG builds a real contender and it isn't going to happen with project players.

Solomon Thomas is a really good pick for the first round.  He may wind up being BPA at 8 when we draft and has a higher ceiling than Myles Garrett.  I however, did not like the picks in rounds two or three.

One of the prospects which interests me is Perrine, especially if we don't wind up with Fournette in the first round.

Yea I forgot about the "win now" mentality. Which is why Josh Norman was let go.

TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT YOU DONT LIKE. ALL COMMENTS WELCOME, BC I REALLY DONT GIVE A FUG. THIS IS GOING TO BE A FUN OFFSEASON.

Don't forget Norwell, he'll get $5-6 million; and deservedly so.

I think Reiff and Captain are going to cost more than that, but I guess we could back-load their contracts a bit.

Fug LaFell. I'd much rather sign Ginn to the same 1/$2.5 deal.

I don't think Mccaffrey lasts until #40. Take the best OT, RB, slot receiver on the board, but I would love Bolles or Garcia.

I like Gerald Everette better than Jake Butt, and he should be there at 72.

Kpassagnon at #99, unless G-man wants to trade up a few spots to grab him early.

I love the Sam Rogers pick!

(bonus) Grab Gonzalez in the 5th to replace Gano.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
