Countdown to Cowher is on!

It was hard to sleep last night I was sick to my stomach.

All I have to say is that Jon Beason did not quit. He got his first sack which that blitz just made me wonder why it took him 3 years. I actually was happy with the intensity and frustration I seen from him. This conservative playcalling has got to go.

All I want for Christmas is a chin! Distance from Raleigh to Charlotte: 171 miles.

Cowher wakes up this morning with a huge smile just thinking about how to use the weapons this team has correctly.

You mean the weapons that take plays off, yell and scream for the ball and then turn around and create a play that results in a pick 6, have noodle arms and throw more INTs than anyone in the NFL, a defense that can't tackle, etc. Yeah I'm sure Cowher is just grinning away... :out:

Cowher would be a fool to take on the Panthers at this point in his career, there are other teams that are further along in the rebuilding process that are much better prospects. Also keep in mind that Cowhers daughter isn't going to be in college long term so that "hope" should be taken with a grain of salt.

we would be in a better position IF we had that #1 pick next year instead of Brown.

This team has better talent than its performance indicates, which is why Fox should be fired.

If we could draft a Colt mcCoy next year, dump Peppers and attract some Defensive Free Agents and draft help, we could be good quick with a good coaching staff.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
