Who really cares about the money when the guy goes out and doesn't even play? I would bench his sorry A** for a few games or even the rest of the season. He got man handled by a TE again for most of the game. What a freak.

Yeah I seen him getting owned by tight ends all game. If he wasn't getting owned there, he was chillin' on the sideline. We're losing, and it pans to the sideline, Peppers is standing there with no helmet on, grinning like a big ole' idiot, must be nice. He's also lost a step, to me he is clearly slower (did he put on weight?) and just can't chase down QB's anymore (Romo IS good at evading but still). This guy is not worth the money, and I don't think other teams are going to think so either (especially when he's getting blocked by TE's).

However, the defense was not the problem last night for most of the game, the offense just fell flat.

I think by benching him it would make our defense even worse than it already is right now. And by benching him, would just help state his case why he didnt want to be here in the first place. I said in the off season, let the guy walk if he doesnt want to play in Carolina.

i remember an ESPN article several years ago, in which they said Peppers diet was awful. Red Bull and doughnuts if I remember correctly.

Plus he has a laid back personality, he doesn't love the game either.

under normal circumstances benching Peppers would seem crazy, but I honestly think this dude is tanking it this year. He is ticked off about the franchise tag and is simply showing up (or barely showing up) and collecting his money. Meanwhile laughing all the way to the bank. They won't cut or bench him... not gonna happen. I do have a question though... why was he standing on the sidelines last night on that second to last drive by the Cowboys? Yes, the D was out on the field the entire second half but damn... come on $16 million man, get out there.
