ESPN has no chill. They asked Ed Werder to work the Draft after firing him.

If you thought last week was bizarre to the point of surreal for ESPN, there’s more.

Former ESPN NFL insider Ed Werder said on his Doomsday Podcast (via SportsBusiness Daily) that ESPN asked him to work the draft after letting him go. He declined.

“It seemed like it was my option and I chose not to,” Werder said. “I just didn’t feel like it was the right place for me to be.”

      Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.

      I think they are watching to see who’s going to be available before they make theirs official. Probably working trades too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t cut anyone today.
