When samuels tweaks hammy(god forbid) you'll cry that we're too slow at wr..

The OP asked what we thought the depth chart would look like, not should look like.

I think we will go with just 5 WRs and Byrd hasn't done much to stand out the last couple weeks in any capacity. I like the guy and his potential, but since samuel is getting involved there just isn't much need for Byrd except as a contingency and with limited space I'm not sure they can afford to keep one around just for 'just in case'. CMC gives them the luxury of another speedy receiver.

I'm not sure it would be fair to keep Byrd around when he could have a better chance getting playtime elsewhere. Here, he'd either be inactive most days or end up being at best the 6th option to throw to so on a good day for him he'd get probably 2 targets but would have to deal with maybe one target a game as an afterthought.

We'll have clay on the practice squad who brings pretty much the same game Byrd does. Byrd likely wouldn't last. Byrd would get picked up and end up with a team that is struggling to find options to throw to like buffalo.

Don't hate for being realistic and thinking Byrd would be better off somewhere else and the team letting him have a shot somewhere else.

We'll still have a very lethal offense without him and his potential.

KB #1: No Question

CS #2: Funchess Fumble Last Week & Him Being A Non Factor This Week For The Last 3 Preseason Made Me Believe Samuel Is Soon to Be The #2 ! Samuel Caught The Same Amount Of Passes Funchess Did In All Three Preseason Game All Together . Both 4 Catches

DF #3: He's Just Not Better Than KB & Samuel !

RS #4: Knows The Game Better Than Byrd & Even Tho Both Of Them Been Quiet For The Past 2 Games I Feel Like the coaches Trust Sheppard More Than Byrd

DB #5: Been Quiet Ever Since Game 1 . I Just Feel Like He Tries To Do To Much & Needs To Stop Thinking He Can Out Run Everybody .

Is There A Reason You Are Yelling The First Letter Of Every Word You Are Saying?

Sorry I thought I pointed that out..

Purpose in keeping him is that even though he's not flashy, the dude is absolute money on third down conversions and Cam trusts him and goes to him. That's why he's going to be on the active roster. Cam trusts him and uses him in those situations and that's all that matters. He doesn't have to use him. No one is making cam throw it to him, but he does because he knows bersin can get the job done.

I'm no bersin fanboy btw.  I'm a fan of whoever Cam trusts to get the job done. If it ain't broke and it works, don't screw it up.

Jerry Rice would have been a nonfactor in this last game with Anderson putting up a Clausen like performance.  Theyll have to look at the film to see who was actually able to get open and ignore all the balls thrown into the ground or third row.
