Hornets v Timberwolves 11/20

I think a big part of the last two wins was MCW's defensive presence and his control of the second unit off the bench. We needed a legitimate backup point guard in the worst way. When he was hurt, we had to live with Monk, Frank and sometimes Lamb firing up a ton of shots and not executing any offensive sets. Having a guy that can facilitate on offense, use guys like Cody effectively in PnR and organize on defense will be beneficial going forward.

I thought Bacon's minutes would be the ones that suffered, but he has more defensive ability right now than Monk and that is probably why he is playing and Monk isn't. Monk will get his time though. Clifford has never been a big believer in playing rookies (especially young ones, see Noah Vonleh) right away and we can all agree that while Monk is talented and exactly who we needed to pick, he's green and has some developing to do. He's going to be a great player for us.

Great couple of wins though. Let's keep it up!

    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • If we could somehow get Salyer and Decker I'd take both and trade Stone Forsyth for a barrel of trash can punch.
