Im sorry but at least in the Saints game Worley DID play better than Bradberry. Bradberry has been a big dissapointment this year, and it doesn't seem like he's made much of a leap from year 1 to year 2.

He's playing more man but to be honest it takes at least 3 years for a CB to peak. What concerns me with Bradberry is his tackling.

IF management took secondary play seriously and quit grabbing players that just excel at zone coverages we’d be in better shape

We played a zone scheme for 6 years. This is our first year where we play a bit less.

yeah but late game situations it's been evident our zone scheme allowed teams back into the game, could argue we only ran it so much due to personnel

It's not the zone,  it's the soft coverage combined with the offense being shut down.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
