Just a reminder, we are about to go on the road and play the dirtiest team in football.

I don't say that lightly. There are a lot of cheap shots in the NFL, but the Saints take the proverbial cake. Their HC was suspended for a year for so-called Bountygate. I have never watched a Saint's game under Sean Payton in which his team did not play dirty as hell.  And if the NFL front office really believed they had enough evidence to suspend him for a year, he should have suspended his ass for life from participating in this game because deliberate attempts to try to maim players in a contact sport is worse than gambling imho because much harder to identify and correct.

Doesn't matter. We play them twice a year. We should be used to dirty football by now. If we cant play and win our own division...and then win against them in the playoffs then we don't win. Yesterdays game is enough to convince me our offense is not playoff ready. hope for the best of course....but damn yesterdays game doesnt give any reason to be hopeful!

    • TBQH, Jackson is performing almost as well as Horn in terms of coverage. So, although the scheme we run doesn't always allow Horn to be at his best, it does make things easier on others and it has proven to be pretty effective in coverage more often than not. His defense overall is designed to stress the QB's decision making.  The biggest complication has been one of the worst front 7 units in the NFL and at times, in the history of our franchise. But, Evero also deserves a pretty healthy chunk of the blame for that because several of these bums have been publicly stated to be "Evero guys."  The front seven has to produce a lot of pressure itself and has to be very disciplined in run support. Those are two areas that have generally been quite bad.  It's not really the scheme. It's the fact that we have so many bums on that side of the ball and/or play guys in positions we have no business playing them. Again, Evero does get some blame for a chunk of that.
    • There are probably dozens of folks on here that were saying that pre draft, I mean there are receipts,  if you want to get into it go for it but you know there were a ton of folks that were screaming his college production was all a sham.  Being the "truth" at alabama doesnt really mean jack fuging poo in the nfl.  And the proof is in the pudding as they say. But this poverty ass franchise seems to be content to roll with this shitty midget for 2 more years
    • I agree he's way too inconsistent right now. I even said he isn't a franchise QB because of it. This whole back and forth is because someone said they could tell Bryce wasn't gonna be a good pro based on how he played in college. And that ain't true. This whole arm issue, not throwing deep and too small to pass over the middle was not an issue in college. Dude was the truth. Obviously all great college players don't become great pros. But in my opinion that's usually either a guy that doesn't have a good work ethic, does dumb stuff outside of football or goes to the wrong team.
