Technically not "fired". He was out of contract. I guess the Steelers just decided not to ask him back, kind of like we and the Broncos both did with John Fox.

Will be pretty interesting to see where he ends up. He's a good OC.

FYI: DeFillippo is out of contract in Philadelphia too. Wilks is said to want him as his OC if he got a head coaching job, but DeFilippo is up for the same HC jobs as Wilks.

If neither of them gets a job, DeFillippo is a free agent.
