We've made the family decision to NOT get flu vaccines.

I never gotten a flu shot and probably never will. I believe flu shot is the biggest scam of all times. Flu constantly mutates so flu vaccine can never be exact match to a flu form out there. Many people who gotten a flu shot end up coming up with a flu the same season.

Got my son the seasonal. Not H1N1. Hasn't been tested on kids or pregos. The wife is pregnant. Not yet sure what to do. I've never gotten a flu shot but I might this year since I travel so much.

just drink airborne daily (or Vitamin C + Zinc), it will help a lot.

Maybe it was an adverse reaction by your body to a flu shot. Flu shot is a small dose of flu virus, your immune system should have no problem of killing it and become immune to it. People that have a weak immune system can actually get very sick with a flu like symptoms.

    • Hilarious coming from them because they played the Mammoth and Ducks in the first two rounds and then got a less than 50% Makar and McKinnon in the Western conference finals... And the Mammoth and Ducks arguably looked like the better team in that series, outside of game 6
    • Good work.  As always, I share insights from my playing experience (3rd team all Pop Warner league) that is my experience and I can only assume it applies to the whole.  My dad (TE for the Gamecocks) taught me a lot--and then my experiences in college confirmed what he taught me.  There is something called "the zone" (I suppose) and it is based on your connection with the QB.  He knows you will be open, when you will be open, and he knows you will make the play.  The WR knows when the ball is going to arrive and he can even sense at the LOS when the ball is coming his way.  "Being on the same page," some call it, but it is a state of invisibility--as if nobody can stop you and the confidence and trust are overflowing.  Drop a pass, you fall out of the zone. If the QB overthrows you or misses you when you are open, the zone shrinks.  Funny thing, the Zone, and I am not sure that is what they really call it--it is what I called it. So how does a QB get in the zone with XL?  He does not get great body position and bail out the QB on bad throws.  He seems to be thinking while he is running his routes and has little awareness of where he is on the field.  The QB does not trust him.  I am not sure XL knows what the zone feels like.   Just my thoughts as I was reading this excellent post.  TY OP/TD alt.
    • Damn fine points made.    No DoubT drafting a raw receiver with a young QB was the wrong decision at the time.  XL can still turn into a productive play maker.  Not sure I am counting on him, alth I am also not counting him out.
