Josh Rosen let it all fly out there. Calls out all the High School players that were above him. Says he'll still be in the NFL in the long run.

never said there was anything wrong with correcting/educating people, capt grumpypants.  If you're going to do it, own it.  Don't beat around the bush and do it passive aggressively.

I’m sorry if my method of correcting someone offended you..although I’m not sure how one can “passive-aggressively” correct somebody. Either you can do it politely or you can be an ass about it. I guess you would prefer the latter? I’ll try to keep that in mind in the future and “own it” more.

Since you seem to have misinterpreted my “not to be that guy” comment...”that guy” = grammar nazis who needlessly correct every little mistake, even harmless typos. So no I am not being that guy...this was correcting a commonly seen blunder of an expression so that he can use it appropriately moving forward if he chooses to. And speaking of misinterpretations...if you always equate sarcasm with grumpiness, then I’m guessing you often wonder to yourself why almost everyone around you is always so miserable.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
