STILL The Best Player On The Planet

All I wanted for Christmas was to see the Lakers got their ass kicked by King James & the Cavs. Thank you Santa! King James goes for 26 points, 9 assists, and 4 boards in today's victory. Kobe Bean Bryant was held in check for most of the day shooting 11-32. It was funny seeing all the Lakers fans act like classless bitches throwing foam and water bottles on the court late in the 4th when LA was down by over 20 points. And what a BITCH Phil Jackson is. Jesus Christ, this guy's ego is so out of control. The guy stays bitching about foul disparities and always tries to act like its some conspiracy against LA. Knowing damn well LA always get babied with calls and always gets the benefit of the doubt. What a sore loser to try and pin this one on foul calls when the Cavs were beating these bums by double figures all game.

On his 25th birthday, King James drops a season high 48 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists to lead to the Cavs over the Hawks for a second night in a row. The night before James had 14 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, & 5 steals in Atlanta.

In his first quarter century, James has crammed in a lifetime worth of accomplishments.

He has already been a Sports Illustrated cover subject as a high schooler, a No. 1 overall draft pick, NBA Rookie of the Year, five-time All-Star, Olympic gold medalist, league MVP, multimillionaire and one of the most recognizable sports figures on the planet.

“It’s amazing,” Cavs coach Mike Brown said of James’ early body of work. “You know how they say a young person has an old soul? Well, he’s got an old game. It’s athletic, powerful and energetic. The whole nine yards. It feels like he’s been doing it forever.” James’ 13,927 points before turning 25 were more than any player in league history. Carmelo Anthony (10,768) was second followed by Kobe Bryant (10,658) and Tracy McGrady (10,420). James’ 3,419 assists were the second-most for a player under 25, bettered only by Isiah Thomas (4,066)

And geee whaddayaknow. Cavs are now #1 in the East. Can you say MVP?

In just 3 quarters of play King James posts 23 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds in the Cavs rout of an Arenas-less Wizards team Wednesday night. It was the team's first game since losing at home to the Bobcats on Sunday. Cleveland remains #1 in the East and only 2 games behind the Lakers for league's best record after their blowout loss to the Clippers last night. The reigning MVP is averaging 28.7 PPG (3rd in the NBA) on 50.5% shooting, he's 7th in assists at 7.8 a game, and the 36% he's shooting from 3 point land is the best of his career. With the Cavs being the league's best defensive team (holding opponents to 43.2% shooting) and LeBron being the anchor, expect the King to get some DPOY consideration AGAIN as well as a spot on the league's all defensive team.

James was named Eastern Conference player of the month in December after averaging 28.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.6 assists and leading the Cavs to a 14-3 record

I wish you would get off Lebron and start making Bobcats game threads again. Those are actually pretty good. I don't need to know Lebrons stat sheet every time they win a game. I've got ESPN for that.

Nobody forced you to click this thread. There's a Kobe thread right below this one just for you. Funny thing is, Ive never seen you tell anybody to stop talking about Kobe or we dont need to hear about how great he is because we have ESPN for that. I know a Laker fan when I see one.
