Didn’t even know this was a thing until I got the Netflix email 5 minutes ago. Already love Iko Uwais’s fights scenes from The Raid, The raid 2, etc.

Watched the opening sequence. Brutal kungfu awesomeness. Completely sold. Will post more when I get a few episodes under my belt. 

Edit: Oh and it’s set in San Fran and in English for those shy of subtitles.

So there is some cheesiness. And obvious to playing to non-martial arts actors but good overall. 

Iko has definitely had to hold himself back.
