Why not take the QB out of the game all together?

Hear me out.

Teach Stewart how to block and just run trips in the backfield with Steve, DWill, and Stewart. Treat it like college with the option shuffle (that would be three options (players) for you slow goes).

You get clock control.

You get the best aspect of our game: running.

You get an immeasurably smaller amount of turnovers.

You get your best player back in the game.

You get your best player happy again.

You get your fans excited.

etc, etc...

Split Jake out wide just to appease Fox and I think we have a chance. Shock the world baby!!!

While I don't doubt that we could actually make something like that work, considering how good our run-blocking is and the explosive ball carriers we have...it's not something that could work for a whole game. Half our starters would be injured by halftime with that kind of constant pounding.

    • True, OL is huge and style fits and things do change. I mean Hubbard looks a lot different from last year. He was an animal last year and he’s tentative this year.
    • Nice, I can't remember poo anymore.
    • 2015 was a long time ago. The world passes each day and all we connect with are memories. Some good, some worse. Enjoy what you have and gloss over the negativity. Each moment is only a possibility for the next.  That's to say, Bryce is pretty fuging limiting but at least he gives us a chance to win. We have a RB right meow that is goating and a defense that's playing inspired. Any fuging given sunday, gentle men and gentle ladies. Until our next drink, Me. Signed: no proofreading.
