Glazer sez Cam is "refusing to run".

Cam had a mid-foot sprain 3 weeks ago.  There has been no ankle injury.

He just loves running too much to have his first two worst rushing games back to back...i mean non running qbs run more then he has. I think he tested it out at the bucs and it was still hurt jm hoping it wont be by the cardinals game.

Let's see if he appears on the Injury Report going into week-3.

I think as long as he can run the bare minimum he wont appear even if his foot is hurting him. Doubt every player that has pain appears on it and exspecially one that would obviousely give the defence a advantage.

That would be a direct violation of NFL rules on the weekly Practice and Game Injury Report/s.

As bad as things are going the last thing the Panthers can afford to do is put future draft picks at risk.

Gotcha, thanks.  But you are saying he was injured the entire season before that?  When was the last time he was ok?

FYI...Cam went 21-29 w/ 2 TD's & 0 INT's and ran it 10 times for 52yds and another TD....clearly he was fine.

I think in this instance he might have had minor pain that wasnt effecting his throws if he was hurt at all and i doubt they would put it on the injury report so imo no one but cam and the insiders really know when cam was hurt last year.

Technically but think of how many players have to hurt every week somewhere on their body and you dont see anything but injuries that force a player to miss practice.

These guys are playing football in the NFL.....at a minimum every single player feels minor pain every single game.

As the great Bill Parcells once said, you are what your record says you are.  #ManUp

If the talk surrounds giving a player a year off to heal, it's not a niggling situation.

I might be wrong but i dont listen to the media because i think its mostly drama or bs. Sitting Cam for a whole year i think is a major overreaction by talking heads spinning a narrative. I will be more convinced if he still looks bad in Arizona as i dont think he has played as bad as others think anyway. We have oline problems and they decide to break down at the worst moments or Cam throws a bad ball at the worst time. Ive still seen him throw dimes but i dont think he should be throwing the ball 50x a game anyway. I also think he was healthy enough to run the sneak at the end of the game so that enraged me. If he had snuck it got the half yd then we put it in the endzone and ended up 1 and 1 the board would be very different.

Just listened to Cam's post-game presser, kudos to him for handling it like a pro.

Two key observations:

1.  Twice he was asked about HIM running the football, and twice he deflected the question.

First question was about the goal-line stand and even though he deflected with a non-answer and supported the play called, it was clear he wanted to make that run.

Second question was about him running in general, again he deflected the question but reading between the lines it was clear he is ready, willing and EAGER to run the football, when called upon.

2.  To his credit he stood up there and owned it all, credit to him for that.

Duh he refusing to take off and ain't due to physical abolity, he is dead determined to being a in pocket passer a surgeon. This he is not. He sees the running as his younger self trying to progress in to his mature self ... But he need to go back to cam newton the one that let instinct take over.
