Not buying it.  Elite defenses anchoring SB winning teams are still the norm, with hotshot young QB led offenses the exception.  Where's Rodgers' ring after he became the highest paid qb in the league?  What about when Luck and Wilson started making 30+ million?  Big Ben?  Nope.

 

Groom the young/cheap QB, build the defense.
