or is something seriously wrong the media player on NFL.com? it is damn frustrating. i can play video from any other media outlet except NFL.com. it skips and lags like crazy. anyone else having this problem? last season, it played fine on my desktop, this year, not at all....not even on my laptop thats only 6 months old. their website sucks. any gurus out there with some advice would be appreciated. i just love hearing the radio calls mixed in with the highlights that they have on NFL.com.

i heard NFL.com upgraded their video player which would require you to have a kick ass video card to view it. however that couldn't be the case as even in my new laptop it still wont do anything. hell, my desktop is almost 5 years old, and kicks ass with an older vid card, but i am not about to upgrade to a more expensive vid card just for one website. i really think its on their end.

I have no problems and I use several computers everyday. Likely it is a problem connected more closely to your end.

what are the odds that the same media will not play on my desktop, and on my laptop that is brand new......yeah, its gotta be on my end, since a couple other people are having the same problem.

Odds are high since you control both systems.

A couple of people doesn't really point to a problem on their end.

Like I said I can use a variety of computers in different locations with most likely much more restrictive settings and have no problems.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
