Thomas Davis FA Question

So if TD is an upcoming free agent, does his injury scare off the competition and allow us to sign him cheaper, make him lose his bargaining power in negotiations, or scare us away from resigning him?

I figure it's our team's medical staff monitoring his progress so we'll have a leg-up (pardon the pun) on everyone else. I don't know the ins and outs as far as if he is restricted or not, maybe someone can clarify for me?

Well the guy is only 26 so he should bounce back and be 100% by next spring making other teams leery of his injury a non-factor.

Davis, Beason, and Diggs are a good LBing corps. I hate to see Davis go, he has ben a beast for us this year. Though he has suffered a severe injury, he'd be a good pickup for anyone. I still think we pay a price for letting Witherspoone get away.

With Pep probably walking that frees up some cash for us to lock him up, I dont think that we will let him go pending any medical problems. I expect him to be around for a while...expect other linebackers to be let go before Davis is.
