Anyone been to Mez for supper?

My girlfriend is tagging along to Charlotte this weekend, I've promised her a nice meal Sunday evening. Any of you Huddlers have an opinion on the place?

It's only good if you are doing it for a dinner and a movie, anything else the food is overrated and there are way better places around. Like Bojangles.

yep. Of course its too expensive..but, the food ive had has actually been pretty good.

Like Scrum said, its nice for a dinner and a movie. And your GF will be more impressed than if you took her to Jason's deli.

Been there several times. Its a neat atmosphere. Swanky is the word that comes to mind. The movie theater is pretty nice. Some of the food is alright. I think its worth going.

I found the shrimp and pasta dish is actually rather good.

And yeah there is a dress code. Its annoying. My husband was wearing a hat they kept asking him to take it off.

Only old ladies should wear a hat at the dinner table. I'd feel like my head is burning if I have a hat on inside.

BTW, you don't go to supper uptown, it's dinner you Atlanta bumpkin.

If you are just going to a restaurant and not a movie then go to Blue, Mimosa Grill, or something else downtown.

And I like Blue, too. Also Aquavina. Chima if you like to eat 30538 pounds of meat. Bonterra is pretty good and a unique location. Actually have a gift card to there that I may use this weekend.
