If only Chris Gamble was like.....

that's a lot like the INT he got against the jets last night...doesn't take anything away from him, though. he's an opportunist but he puts himself in a good place consistently that gives him those opportunities. where is that place? the WRs back pocket. there is no cushion. he shuts down every WR that he covers. there are sometimes that he gets beat but those times are very few and far between.

only person i see on the team that has the potential to be a shut down corner is the captain. he has that aggressiveness, tenacity, and will stick right by his man. give him a little time and he could be right up there.

gamble just isn't physical enough and allows too much of a cushion.

Gamble has been solid this year like it or not. The fact still remains though if you dont have a pass rush its hard to cover a WR. There will always be a CB each year that seems like the best but the fact is we will be talking about another CB next year.

I disagree. Gamble thrived when we was in a aggressive scheme. He does better when he's allowed to be all over the field instead of one side for the past 3 years. He does better when he's allowed to be aggressive. The zone isn't really fit for him

The ARI game a couple weeks ago showed that

Says the average probowl voter. It's not all about picks, and at at the moment I would say Revis is playing better than Gamble.

Yea your right but lets face it if it were not for stats no one would a a bases to prove a point. Revis is good no doubt but Gamble is too. The media talks more about Revis thus he is better in most peoples minds. Now thats your avg Pro Bowl Voter right there.....
