Anybody check the link on Jakes extension? Breaks it down on what we would owe him if we cut him.

Yup, Delhomme can go out on the field and sit on his finger for 60 minutes and he'll make out like bandit if he gets cut or starts.

Pathetic contract extension made by Hurney and crew. Everyone in their right mind knew that game against the Cards in the playoffs wasn't a fluke. There's a reason why so many people wanted to see Delhomme get replaced before it got this bad.

    • Let's not ignore the playoffs.... Stroud - 231 passing ypg, 2 TD, 5 INTs (with a dominant defense) Bryce - 264 passing ypg, 1 TD, 1 INT (plus 1 rushing TD) Not saying Bryce is good by any stretch of the imagination, but Stroud single handedly lost them the Patriots playoff game (and could have lost them the Steelers game if the defense didn't carry him)
    • Until Brooks does something, I don't like the current situation. I love Chuba the person, but I don't think he's a lead back until he shows more than last year and gets back to 2024 form. Etienne is unproven but maybe some hope there. All in all, we have to have a successful run game for this offense to work. I don't feel great about the current status, but RB is the one position I feel like you can churn and ride a hot hand to get by.
