Further down the page in other news, Mildred Harrison, James Harrison's mother was arrested for assaulting other folks at a community hall while watching a game. She is 62 years old and still scrapping. Must have gotten his fire from her side of the family.

In other news Babineaux in Atlanta is caught with 1 1/2 ozs of marijuana in a traffic stop in Atlanta. What is it with Atlanta players toting their weed everywhere they go. You would think that someone who makes that kind of money would have an designated weed toter so if they get stopped, they don't get busted. How stupid can they be?? He is being charged with a felony. I wonder if this will disappear like Vick's paraphenalia charge did in the airport.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
