Nonetheless, a 13 point lead at this point in the game is not enough. It's nice, but I wouldn't feel great about a 13 point lead until there is 2 minutes left to the game and we control the ball.

i dont disagree but i also think ranting and raving about how bad we are after each play is annoying.

Thank you God.

I hope anyone who thinks a 13 point lead with that much time left is enough has now learned their lesson. For that matter - 1 second is bad as well.

i will take 13 point lead in the 4th with the ball against any team any time. no points are enough until 0:00. That was not the point of this thread. the point is that in the nfl road teams do no blow out good teams at home. the point is bitching, freaking out, and crying about how we are playing when we are in control at the time is asinine. that kind of attitude is why people freak out and buy bread and milk if the weather man hints at snow. that kind of attitude is what causes gas lines when the tank is still over half full. that kind of attitude shows a lack of maturity and an unsteady hand.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
