Anyone who can't just relax and enjoy the win needs to take a zanex and chill out.

who said we weren't enjoying the win.......i'll be damn if i don't rub it in every falcon fans face.:hurray:

just the way this d has been playing could be a sign...whether it's in the nfc title game,Superbowl,or even the first playoff game.

i hate foreshadowing,especially when it's bad.

I think it good to criticize John Fox and his coaching staff, even thought they are 12-4. They need to be held accountable for these 4th quarter callapses. The defense is not to blame here IMO. Conservative offensive play calling in the 4th quarter is what almost got us the loss. The "leave it up to our defense" attitude has got to stop. We are not Pittsburgh! But, Fox is a long way from being a bad coach...he has room for improvement like everyone else in the world. I would give him and his staff a B- on the season.

I had an eight year old kid beside me at the end of the game who's a huge Panthers fan, knows all the players, etc. He was going nuts as the clock ran down, just out of his mind. I turned to him and said, "Don't worry kid, the game's in the bag".

'nuff said...

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
