Well "bust" was one of the words being floated when the Panthers drafted a running back in the first round for the second time in three years. Rumor was Fox thought Williams didn't have what it takes to be a feature back. From the looks of it with the way he mixes in Stewart, benching Deangelo when he's hot Fox still doesn't know what he has in Williams.

I'm happy to have Stewart but there is no reason to have a playmaker out of the game ever... That would be like benching Smith. Spelling Williams on occasion is fine, but why the hell park him for multiple series, I don't understand.

Yeah, I think it has more to do with trying to keep Williams rested for the playoffs. It is aggravating though. At halftime I was thinking if Williams could break the single game rushing record.
