Glad to find some California Panther fans. If you are in the LA-OC area of Southern California, a bunch of us are meeting at Gallaghers in Huntington Beach on Sunday to watch the game. It's a cool Irish Pub and they are having a New Years special where you get a free plate of Wings if you buy a pitcher of beer while u watch the NFL. I have been there before and the food is good. gallagherspub.com has more info. See you there.

I live in northern San Diego county and go to school in Davis, near Sacramento.

If my flight back up weren't tomorrow I'd be there. I will be going to the Carolina @ 49ers game next season though. Can't wait to tailgate with some Panthers fans.

I thought that as well, but turns out I was mistaken. The NFL actually made a schedule rule change back in March. They no longer want teams who play the West Divisions to goto Seattle/San Fran in the same year when playing the NFCW and they don't want teams to goto Oakland/San Diego in the same year they play the AFCW (like the Panthers did in 2008).

So the Panthers will be at Seattle, and at St. Louis, then Host San Fran and Arizona for 2010.

      Just not seeing it. A more likely trade partner is Buffalo (as always). You know what, though? Haven't heard any squawking from inside sources that XL is on his way out. The old adage is that WRs take three years to find their way in the NFL and Canales is a rehabber coach by reputation. I don't think he's ready to give up on XL, yet. Still, this is the Not For Long league and our draft pick this season spent on a WR should be a motivator for XL to play less timidly and compete.

      Knew it was gonna be the Leafs after reports earlier were saying Matthews likely doesn't want to play for Toronto next year. Thank god the NFL doesn't have a stupid lottery
