Boy could we use Brandon Marshall...

You pass judgment when you don't see improvement. I have seen him improve every year. And this yes I do think he could have been just as good as Moose this year. I have a feeling that Moose is gone after this year and Jarret or a FA will be the #2.

Given the opportunity Jarrett will develop into a solid number 2 as long as Jake is not starting.

i mean how many years is this guy under contract? if he ISNT a 2 then he's gone. i just wonder if after three years of nothing the coaches have as much faith as you do.

Jarrett is not a Rookie and Jake over Moore is a better example of his poor depth chart management. Sure he looked bad in practice but when it matters and when he is given a chance he has played well (that could be about either Moore or Jarrett).

Jarrett is a product of really lousy luck. Behind two good vetrans that have been this teams passing game for the better part of a decade. That and we are a run first team that rarely uses 3 wr sets. And look at the QB he had throwing to him. Jarrett has improved both his route runnning and his run blocking (I actually think his blocking is up there with Moose's). Just remember with Moore, more things are possible.

i hope youre right and he's just unlucky. i for one think that something else other than luck is involve in at least one of those three seasons that he has been off the map.

seeing how he hardly ever dresses out... i'd say he'd have been cut by another team by now.

You are extremely foolish and have absolutely no clue then, if he played for GB, MN, NE, IN, SD, NO, HOU, NYG, PHIL or AZ he would be a huge redzone threat......surprise surprise what do these teams have in common......an ELITE QB and other then NYG they all throw the ball a ton. 99% of the time a great QB will make an average or even below average WR better, just look at what Indy has done with Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie this year. Steve Smith making Jake look like a decent QB at times is the exception not the norm. QB's make WR's not the other way around.

all this assumes jarrett has work ethic and learns the playbook. two things he's been accused of NOT doing in Carolina. Face it those other WR's are playing b/c they at LEAST can accomplish those tasks.

99% a great QB makes a WR better? who would disagree with that? its common knowledge. i'm not debating that nor do i disagree. i disagree with you that JARRETT would be a remotely decent WR anywhere in the league. he doesnt work hard and lacks the dive to learn by all accounts. we've all seen the tools he has, as well as his god given talents. but thats NOT WHY HE'S NO GOOD IN THE NFL.

now stop putting words in my mouth and stop saying he's something he's not. he is nothing more than a stout college athlete with "potential" there are tons of them in every draft, but this team doesnt need potential it needs production.
