Looks like a good deal as long as you don't mind a refurbished TV. I will buy a refurbished lawnmower but something about refurbished electronics makes me steer clear even with a warranty.

J2sgam says that Vizio's are "throw aways"... as in they won't last... and I'm with JR, refurbished electronic items scare me.

I've got a 55" Vizio... and it's amazing...

All technology nowadays should be considered "throwaway" as in about 3 years, it will be outdated... So if this lasts me at least 3 years, I'll be happy...

We had a Sony 42" before this, and it was okay... but the Vizio's picture completely blows it out of the water...

The only negative I have with our current one is that the sound isn't so great... I got a Bose system now though and don't have to worry about the Vizio's sound...

Yeah, you're right... I've got a Westinghouse 32" LCD and it's been on the fritz for about 6 months and it's just now 3 years old... it goes weeks where it's fine then the next week the picture screws up for a while...

I was just repeating what my boy told me... cause he does that stuff for a living.

I thought Circuit City went Bankrupt or something along those lines here some time back. Oh well......guess I heard wrong. Maybe it was only in a certain area they were closing the stores.

I get small electronic stuff refurbed...like my N router a few years ago that is still going strong. Don't know if I would do it for big ticket stuff. Although I am looking at a refurbed BR player from TigerDirect (which seems to have the same website setup as Circuit City, they under the same umbrella now?).
