Position Change for a RB?

Catching passes in college and catching passes in the NFL are two totally different things.

It's HUGE adjustment for a guy who has been playing WR to adjust from college to the NFL, so you can only imagine what it would be like for a guy who played HB.

Being good at catching passes out of the backfield in the flats or on little 5 yard dump routes does not mean you can play WR.

I agree with you 100% but Devin Hester has made the switch and he was a corner in college I think...matt jones made the switch before he went all cracked out...brad smith made the switch for the jets and he turned out reall well...Randle el did it to I think.

It's definitely not a lock that he would succeed but he isn't helping the team as a 4th string RB...it would be interesting to see and I think he could do it if he was willing. With his size and speed I think he could be at least a gimmick at WR or a matchup advantage for the offense.

The whole point of this is giving matt Moore the most playmakers possible...and the draft can only give us one maybe two at most.
