  1. The base concepts and formations are probably far more realistic than most people give credit. You just won’t see any shifts or many pre-snap motions that teams actually run. I have a feeling Madden 25 will take Madden 24s Bucs and Seattle playbook and give it to the Panthers, where in real life Caneles will make some minor changes that fit Bryce and the roster better.
  2. That’d be my preference. I think we know Luvu is a great blitzer and can get pressure in a bunch of different ways. It’d be risky going into the season fully committing to him as an edge rusher
  3. I’d say in the base 3-4, Luvu can play the edge and Chinn the SS or LB next to Shaq. In the nickel packages Luvu can slide back to ILB next to Shaq with Chinn playing nickel, giving Haynes, Barno or a rookie a chance to rush the passer.
  4. Thought for a minute this was a post about him going back to #54 so Stroud could have #7
  5. If we want to be the Bengals let’s draft Stroud this year & Marvin Harrison Jr. next year
  6. Sean Tucker Syracuse. Freak athlete with size and speed
  7. Harrison Jr. and Bowers are not eligible until next year
  8. Would rather have Bryce Young or CJ Stroud this year, than wait to see if we are bad enough to get next years top notch QBs. On top of that USCs Caleb Williams will hands down be the #1 pick next year. Maye could very well be the #2 pick but he’s certainly not better than Caleb Williams. Would be shocked if Maye went ahead of Bryce Young even if he was in this draft class. Going to be a lot different next year for Maye when he’s under a weekly spotlight to perform like Young Stroud and Levis were this year. Maye is talented and a good prospect, but certainly not worth passing on a good QB prospect this year and throwing away a whole season for.
  9. Those trade offers will still be there in the offseason if they feel they need to make them at that time. imo the only reason to trade one of those two guys are to insure you get one of the potential franchise QBs in this draft. Not looking like we’ll have to trade up with the way we’re playing so I like that we held onto those guys so a young QB has pieces around him when he arrives
  10. Jeff Okudah to the Lions at 3 Whoops and Chase Young at 2
  11. Before you completely kill the man, you have to at least acknowledge that Rhule drafted him and Christensen. Clearly he liked them and saw some potential which is starting to translate to the field
  12. Wasn’t trying to compare him to Cam in any way shape or form. Like you, I’d defend Cam, his play on the field, and his professionalism over Darnold any day of the week. With that said, this quote is not a reason to villainize Darnold. Him being terrible at football is more than enough
  13. There is a lot to rip Darnold and Rhule for but some of you are reaching hard… Clearly Sam wasn’t referring to just todays game and that statement is not meant to be a shot at Cam at all
  14. I think all 4 could be gone by pick 8.. in that scenario though I think it’s because we traded up for our guy and now a team like Miami has pick 8. Personally I’d be shocked if we stayed at 8, and all 4 guys are gone. Not impossible but to me it seems unlikely
  15. Interesting Panther related broadcast notes. “you know DJ Moore would have caught that one” referring to a well thrown red zone fade that was off the finger tips of the receiver. Daniel Jeremiah then mentioned some of the traits Matt Rhule has stated he wants in a franchise QB, and how Trey Lance fits that mold. Lastly he mentioned that teams interested in Lance have to be thinking about moving in front of Carolina.
