Game 81: Bobcats@Nets

So it doesn't matter how the Bucks fare now? It is just the Heat that we can pass?

Correct. The only scenario in which our seeding will change is if the Miami Heat lose the rest of their games and the Bobcats win out.

Question, will FSCR carry the playoff games and if they do will it be blacked out? I hope they don't carry the games.

Me too. Hopefully they are on TNT or ESPN or something else.

I finally had a chance or so I thought to watch Bobcats games on TV as I found a channel hidden amidst the PPV sports channels that showed them but it turns out the channel is blacked out in Asheville.

When they were on NBAtv I thought I had a chance to watch it in high quality HD instead the fuger was blacked out. I like Steve and Dell but I want to see the Cats on TNT or ESPN.

I just realized I had NBAtv on Saturday. Bill Murray and Ahmad were good times after a J and a beer.

    • A team should always be putting at least one or two draft picks in at tackle and guard each season. Those guys just don't last nearly long enough and those that do get very, very expensive. In our situation, we need a little more time to see what the Icky injury works itself out to. Njiman performed really well out there and if this injury lingers into the next season, then he might do well enough there to hold the line for the team. Or we could draft early if there is a stud LOT in the draft when our spot comes along.  Honestly, we may be looking at replacing both LT and RT this season at this point. Moton is getting long in the tooth and while he deserves a shot to go for a playoff run with this team, I don't know whether we will really see him come back next season yet. It's still so darned early in all of this to say.
    • Because we had a ton of things go our way this year and made the playoffs with a -70 point differential.  This year was the outlier.  Regression to the mean is unavoidable.  So the team will have to significantly improve to beat 8 wins next year.
    • One thing I noticed in this game (and I say this as the biggest of Bryce Young haters) is that Bryce did do a solid job of throwing into voids in this game, and leading receivers on crossers.  There were a few times where I was thinking "where the hell is he throwing it" only for a receiver to appear out of nowhere and catch it in stride.  Mike McDaniel might be a guy that can squeeze a little bit of production out of the otherwise ghastly Bryce Young. His offenses heavily feature that style of passing game.  I've heard Idzik is drawing interest from other teams.  If so, bringing McDaniel in at OC would be a stellar move.  I know it'll never happen, but fun to think about.
