Good...

I'm thinking:

-We now have a QB used to our offensive style, was tough through an injury, and plays smart. He gets his chance to prove what he has and that he isn't the douche that people claim he is. Also, it will give the Panthers more media attention. That never hurt.

-We have a WR that worked with a bad offense yet still manage to produce good numbers. Great blocker and has major upside in general.

-We have a hybrid/specialist type player. He is without a doubt a play-maker once he gets the ball and reminds me of Randle El who was in a very similar situation with a team we love to emulate: Pittsburgh. He was moving up boards recently and I think our FO knows they'll be goin defense in the fourth and didn't want to let his game changing abilities slip into the late 4th - 5th round...then we end up not getting him.

So, I'm happy and optimistic.

    • For the money... CURTIS Samuel > DEEBO Samuel!
    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
