does it bother you north carolina folks that there's hardly any players from north carolina schools on the team?

you got steve justice © and kenny moore (wr) from wake forest. neither of those are a lock to make the team. wallace wright (wr) and hilee taylor (de) are from unc. neither of those are a lock to make the team. tank tyler (dt) and marcus hudson (s) are from nc state. tank tyler will likely make the team, but hudson isn't a lock. armanti edwards (wr) and dexter jackson (wr) are from appalachian state. jackson isn't a lock, but edwards will probably make it. however, edwards was born in south carolina. everette brown was born in nc even though he went to florida state. is north carolina fans' favorite player tank tyler or everette brown? am i annoying you at all with my subtle taunting?

The bolded players will likely make it. Also, this is a particularly stupid thread.

It worked so great for the Bobcats!

so, what's your point? north carolina has a severe lack of professional football and basketball talent?

His point is that limiting yourself to players from one state is asinine as you can't collect enough players that fit your needs and style from just that area.

Seriously, this thread started out stupid, and now you are trolling it (with your post above).

seriously? seriously? oh dang, i'm sorry steve smith. please forgive me. if you think it's a lame thread then why do you keep posting in it? there's the whole chris harris trade that is way more interesting. i just wanted to know if north carolina fans wanted a good hometown college kid to root for.

    • Yeah if Im running 70 in a 65 and your in my backseat Im locking my cruise control there and if you dont get the message Ill drop to the posted speed limit. Im at or in excess of the posted speed and have no obligation to yield the lane.
    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
