This series is a tough one to call. Both teams match up well with each other. But Ima go with the Celtics in 6 games. The Magic have not been tested at all this playoffs and will face an experienced gutty Celtics team that has taken out Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. I think with their bigs they can take care of Dwight Howard. The question is, will Paul Pierce and Ray Allen show up? Cuz Rondo alone cant do it. The Magic will score points and hit 3s so its imperative for the Celtics guards to step up. I have no faith in the Magic. They are PRETENDERS and only want to make the Finals to lay down for Kobe & LA. The Celtics on the other hand are not afraid of the Lakers and beat them in the Finals just 2 years ago. The psychological edge the Lakers have on 99% of the league, doesnt work against the Celtics who have dominated the Laker franchise thru out history. That being said, Im rooting for the C's because I think they have a better chance to dethrone the defending champs than the Magic. Should be a good series.

I'm taking Orlando. Although Orlando has been sweeping through the playoffs, this series will be different. Boston has a great defense that will keep the in games. Their defense will lead them into the offense a lot of the times in transition. Have to keep an eye not only on Rondo in transition but also Ray Allen. Allen makes a good amount of his 3s in transition. Also its going to be an interesting match-up between Rondo and Nelson.

But I think Magic's defense and 3s will once again lead them to a series win.

Magic in 7.

I'm gonna go with my gut feeling and take Boston in 6. The Celtics pushed Orlando to 7 games last year without KG in the lineup. I think the Celtics will be able to defend the Magic very well, similar to the how Bobcats did. But unlike the 'Cats, I think Boston will find enough offense to pull it out.

    • It's just a talking head.  Talking about gambling. If anybody takes the under on 4.5 wins, they're most likely losing their money.   So he's only saying if you want to bet on a possible sleeper, take the over.  It's not rocket science.  Pathetic that so many on the huddle have reduced themselves to posting purely trash every time they hit the submit button.
    • I mean I think the best case scenario has to hit for the Panthers and everyone else in the NFCS has to hit their worst case scenario.  Personally, I think this is the year that NO finally collapses and I think they finish 4th in the division regardless.  ATL is overrated but still likely a 6-9 win team. TB plays tough football, their defense will be there but their success depends on the offense, they too are a 6-9 win team.  The Panthers are probably 4-6 wins at best. If they find some sort of momentum during the season and get 7-8 wins, and TB and ATL struggle then maybe but I find it very unlikely.
    • We screwed up a couple years ago taking Bryce in the first place.  Nobody held a gun to our head to jump from #9 to #1.  Most people who keep up with draft news knew this 2024 QB class was loaded and we should have waited, which I advocated. It was a dumb move and I knew it.  Now we have to roll with Bryce another year.  That's fine, because this 2025 class isn't that great.  I like Ewers, but not super high on him.  If Bryce shows improvement, which I think he will, that should get him at least one more season before we have to decide on if he's the permanent answer or not.  I've said before, the 2026 draft is the next window for a franchise QB if Bryce isn't the answer. Bryce gets this year and next at a minimum.
