I'm gone until the draft, Jake gets poo canned, or maybe even till preseason. It was fun, but the 08 panthers were one of the most disappointing panthers teams I can remember. I'm gonna take a break from football, i definitely won't watch tomorrow.

for real tho........this was the all or nothing team. Nobody can argue the fact that Fox went all out this year due to pressure to win. He had the BEST team he has yet to have, yet certain individuals didn't come through when it counted the most. It will be a long time until we have a team like this, which is VERY dissapointing. Wow.............................see you in August, I guess?????

It's clear that the team with the best players doesn't always win, but the best TEAM wins.

You could see how the Cardinals were all playing for one another. Because they knew that the only people believing in them was themselves. That's all they had.

I said it yesterday. They're gonna be playing with that "Us against the world" mentality...and it was dangerous.

That's what happened.

      I agree, but I've already said that the players will definitely take more money up front because it's more security.       TBH, these are the kind of players that get weeded out of professional sports pretty quickly. Also, CMC is not that guy. There is zero indication that he isn't competitive.

      I like the free agency. It actually helps basically all schools across the board. Pretty much only ancient HC's and/or HC's that haven't been able to adjust have been complaining about the free agency. Your fortunes can be made or broken every offseason. It's not like before where a bad recruiting class or two meant multiyear purgatory.  I will never understand all the bellyaching about the NIL. If you want to talk about what ruined college athletics, it has been naked greed. Conference expansions for TV revenue, ever skyrocketing AD and facilities costs and now the attempts to permanently ruin the postseasons(football and basketball).  All the kids did was get a very well deserved piece of a very, very, VERY broken pie.
