let em hate... its just a way to get the hurt out...

if no fans were allowed to hate on the team, then there'd be no fans.

about the bye weeks... man, this is a puzzler... the seasonal patterns of this team are rediculous.. last year, they couldn't win at home. this year, they couldn't lose at home, unless the game was after a bye.

most of us are outsiders... hell, I don't even know if the players know why they can't play well after a bye week!

maybe next year they will only play well well after a bye week! who the hell knows what pattern we'll see next season

All I know is if I had to pick between being lethal at home vs. being lethal on the road...I'll take the home team every day of the week.

It's cool when you get in the playoffs at #5 or #6 and you have that crazy ride on the road... But a team that can't win at home... That's just depressing :(

Of all the things there are to say about this season...one thing that I wouldn't change for the world was the regular season 8-0 at BoA. I'm still really proud of them for that.

I'm proud of this team for the way it came together during the regular season, I'm def a real fan, I've been through the ups and downs with this team. I can hate if I want to also, Jake delhomme is not a real good qb or even a good one, he's an average qb with one heck of a go get it wr in steve smith. Add that to the fact he's one of the highest paid qb's in the league when it comes to cap size. He need's to go, you don't pay an average or above average qb top money.

Like I said in another thread he makes more then drew brees, jeff garcia, chad pennington and matt shaub. Makes roughly around the same amount of money that donavan mcnabb, Jay cutler, and matt ryan make when considering just total salary.

when talking cap hit there are only five qb's that have a higher hit then jake.

Is jake worth that much money??????

I say no

1-15 sucked because we were awful. The difference is, every week during that season, you expected nothing. You expected them to lose. Most weeks they'd actually play pretty close, and I know I took some solace in the fact that we played better than a 1-15 team for most of those games. We just couldn't finish.

What happened last night is a completely different disaster entirely.

Great team + great expectations + epic fail = massively depressing loss.

I'm a hardcore Panthers fan and have been so since inception but enough is enough. I just dont like this brand and philosophy of football. this is really an 8-8 team that had no business winning 4 of the 12 games we won. yeah, ive seen enough of the same crap over Foxs watch dispite player changes, im not blind. Will I quit rooting them on? Hell No! but i'll continue to root for leadership change. BRING IN COWHER AND END THIS FRICKEN CHARADE.

    • Picks: Nos. 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 I'm extremely excited for the Panthers' 2026 draft. How could you not be? After two straight offseasons of aggressive defensive spending, coordinator Ejiro Evero's unit looks ready to make the leap. Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloydfill out two of the biggest gaps on the roster, though the Panthers should not be discounted from drafting a top edge rusher early. Phillips is a major injury risk and not a sack artist, so he doesn't fully solve the Panthers' 5.3% sack rate from last season (27th in the league). The Panthers might be the Akheem Mesidor(Miami) team, as they need his production immediately. The Panthers are also often tagged as the Kenyon Sadiq team, which is very possible. No one among Tommy Tremble, Ja'Tavion Sanders and Mitchell Evans has played his way into an unquestioned starting role. But the Panthers do have three tight ends on the roster, two of whom are on rookie contracts. Sadiq would fit nicely in Dave Canales' offense, which has a dynamic screen game and schemes up targets well. But I'd like to see an accompanying move to make room at the position for Sadiq's snaps to love the pick. There's much more room at wide receiver, where a second three-level option to run besides Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan could really bust open this offense. I could see an early pick spent in the secondary, which might come as a surprise to some. Slot corner Chau Smith-Wade has been fine but could be improved upon if an elite nickel option is available at No. 51 (think D'Angelo Ponds from Indiana or Keionte Scottfrom Miami). Depth behind the outside corners is also quite thin, and Mike Jackson (29 years old) is in a contract year, so a player with inside-out versatility would have even more value. Clemson's Avieon Terrell, anyone? The Panthers can also buttress the slot by drafting a safety with good man coverage traits to play opposite Tre'von Moehrig, as neither Lathan Ransom nor Nick Scott has emphatically secured that role. Treydan Stukes(Arizona) is another option who would make a lot of sense at No. 51. Bottom line: Wide receiver, pass rusher and defensive back are the big needs. Attack them aggressively -- this is the end of Bryce Young's rookie contract, so it's time to push
